Problem: You've lost your RaceBox Mini S while riding, and want to locate it using the free "LightBlue" app, available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Step 1: Download and Install the "LightBlue" App
Go to the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), search for "LightBlue" (developed by Punch Through Design), and install it.
Step 2: Enable Bluetooth
Make sure your smartphone's Bluetooth is turned on — the app needs it to detect nearby devices.
Step 3: Search for the RaceBox Mini S
Open the "LightBlue" app and check its list of nearby Bluetooth devices. Your RaceBox Mini S will appear once it's within about 30 meters of your smartphone. Keep moving along the track and checking for it to appear — if the device is covered in dirt or doesn't have a clear line of sight, that range could be much shorter.
Step 4: Follow the Beacon Strength
Pay attention to the RaceBox Mini S's "beacon strength" in the app, shown as a numerical value or signal bars. Walk around the area where you think you lost it: the beacon strength increases as you get closer and decreases as you move away. Use this to narrow down its location.
Step 5: Locate the RaceBox Mini S
Once you've found a spot where the beacon strength is strong and stable, you're likely very close to your RaceBox Mini S — carefully inspect the area to find it.
