RIDER TRACKING is an optional A.I. process run on your iPhone or iPad to track the rider. Running RIDER TRACKING enables auto-zoom and overlay. Both of these features make analysis much easier and powerful because your rider will always be up close and centered. Picking out technique, line choice, body position, bike setup or any other difference is easier when auto-zoom is enabled.
Why would I choose to run RIDER TRACKING?
- If you are analyzing videos for technique, body position, bike setup, or anything where seeing the rider in maximum detail and clarity is required.
- If in both your videos the rider is always in view (not obstructed by other riders, trees, jump faces etc). When the rider is always in view RIDER TRACKING is effortless and effective. It is still possible if the rider is not always in view, but may require you to provide hints to the A.I. system.
When should I skip RIDER TRACKING?
- If you only care about analyzing line choice or want the quickest possible analysis. Skipping RIDER TRACKING can save about 30 seconds easily of processing time so it is quicker and still gives you the timing differentials (faster by... slower by...).
- If your rider is frequently not in view because it is obstructed by other riders, trees, jump faces, vehicles etc. RIDER TRACKING can become really difficult or even impossible in these scenarios.
