Once you have used LITPro VISION a couple times the basics of synchronizing your videos using frame locks, running RIDER TRACKING, and analyzing your videos will hopefully be easy and rewarding (if not see the other help desk articles).
The challenge will remain though on how to keep track of what may come to be many videos in your photo library. Even in one session at the track you can easily record enough videos of your rider that it can be a daunting challenge to find the comparable videos and remember which ones were the "good" ones.
Here are a few basic tips outside of the LITPro app that will help:
- Let your rider know you are filming and where you'll be standing. You always want your rider to be trying their best or they won't take the findings to heart.
- If you recorded a dud, delete it right away so it doesn't clutter up your library later.
- If you can keep the GPS location tagging enabled on your camera, the LITPro app can use the location tagged in the photos to group videos taken from the same location together.
Organization features within the LITPro app:
- Grouping by proximity: You can use these to automatically group your videos taken at close proximity to each other - even if you record videos at your track on different days. Use "no grouping" if your videos do not have location information or the location information is inaccurate.
- Grouping by Track: You can find all the videos at a particular track. Use "all tracks" if your videos do not have location information or the location information is inaccurate.
- Grouping by time: You can select from a few preset time ranges, or choose "all time" for the most inclusive filtering.
- Other filters: If you are using Rider Tagging, which we recommend, or have favorited a video you can filter by either of those options as well. Use "none" for the most inclusive filtering.
Actively managing your video content
- Creating a "Rider Tagging": You can tag riders in videos you shoot by previewing the video, then tap "Tag Rider". From there you can choose from an existing rider or create a new rider tag.
- Filtering by "Rider Tag": Once you've tagged riders in your videos you can select them from the UI.
- Using the "Ignore Videos" feature to easily identify videos you might want to permanently delete from your photo library. Once you tap "Ignore Video" from the LITPro app it won't show inside the app anymore, but also adds it to an album on your photo library. From there you can launch the Photos app on your iPhone and permanently delete those videos. You will find this is an easy way to keep your content organized and not accidentally delete a video you want to use inside VISION.
