Caring for your Mini S
- Mini S IS SPLASH PROOF, BUT NOT WATERPROOF Splashes of water won't hurt, but do not power-wash or allow sustained exposure to water.
- Charge device regularly - Make sure it is powered off before connecting it to the charger for long periods. This will extend your battery life.
3. Mounting the Mini S
- Ideal mounting locations for the Mini S are the top of your helmet or on the front/rear fender - wherever you have a flat surface to adhere to that ideally positions the Mini S with the top facing the sky. Mounting the Mini S to the triple clamp or behind the number plate of a motocross bike may work, but you'll sacrifice some of the accuracy of the device.
IMPORTANT TIP: Clean the mounting surface with 95% rubbing alcohol, contact cleaner, or equivalent before applying the adhesive tape to any surface. This will ensure good adhesion. If you fail to do this, the Mini S will likely fall off, get damaged, or be lost.
Do NOT mount the Mini S to a motocross bike using the 1/4 20 screw mounting hole on the bottom of the Mini S. The vibration on the chassis of motocross bikes is too high for the plastics and will break off.
- Remove the adhesive backing and place the velcro on your helmet or fender. Wait 15 min before riding to ensure a good adhesive bond
- IMPORTANT TIP: You are responsible for mounting your RaceBox Mini S securely, especially on non-flat surfaces.

About Manual Mode
In manual mode you the RaceBox will only record data when you've explicitly started or ended recording from the LITPro App. This means if you connect and start recording from the app it will continue to record even if you stop moving for long periods of time and will continue recording until it is stopped or runs out of memory (around 2 hours and 10 minutes later). This mode is ideal for practicing gate drops, or any other kind of activity where recording at a dead stop is important.
In manual mode the LITPro app will still automatically split your sessions when you pause for more than 5 minutes or more (meaning if you stop moving).
The Mini S can store a maximum of 2 hours and 10 minutes of actual ride time before running out of memory. When the Mini S is out of memory it will stop recording until you sync it. Sync time for a completely full MINI S is around 5 minutes total.
About Smart Mode
In smart mode your RaceBox will automatically pause recording if you stop moving for more than 5 minutes, and automatically begin recording again when you resume moving. This means that you can start smart mode when you arrive at the track, and end it when you are done for the day and you don't have to worry about running out of memory or having a long sync time.
In smart mode the LITPro app will still automatically split your sessions when you pause for more than 5 minutes or more (meaning if you stop moving).
