You can manage your data and set it to public or private inside the LITPro App. This article explains the benefits of sharing your data publicly and also where you find these settings.
Follow these steps to control your data privacy:
- Open the LITPro app and log in to your account
- Tap the team icon at the bottom of the screen
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner
- Toggle the public hot laps button to make your laps public or private
What are the benefits of sharing your data (making it public):
Track Leaderboards
You're included in your local track leaderboard when you set your data to public. You can see how you rank against anybody who's ridden using the same track configuration and has their data set to public.
Comparing Laps
You'll be able to utilize the gold lap, otherwise known as the "Hot Lap". There is a Hot Lap for every track configuration and it's the fastest time tracked for that particular track. This lap is indicated by a gold tab in the lap view. You can pull it over to compare it against your own if you want to see what a faster rider is doing.
Global Challenges
LITPro hosts a few global challenges a year to keep things fun and to help you push yourself. Challenges typically have a defined goal that you must complete to earn a prize. For example, you might choose to participate in a 100 Lap Challenge during a given month and earn a free LITPro t-shirt.
Who can see my public laps?
If your laps are set to public these are the viewing considerations.
- Only viewable by people who ride the same tracks in the same local area
- Only viewable by people who also have their laps set to public
- For example, both criteria above must be met to see other rider's laps on a leaderboard or on a Hot Lap
